2012 Winners

The James Hemming Essay Prize awards were given to:

1st Prize – James Hemming Essay_Pete Jones (£1000)
2nd Prize – James Hemming Essay_Lucy Mahon (£500)
3rd Prize – James Hemming Essay_Emily Dyson (£250)

The winners of the James Hemming Essay Prize receive their awards at a ceremony at London’s Conway Hall. Prizes include money provided by the South Place Ethical Society, books from the British Humanist Association, and a year’s subscription to New Humanist. The prize winners’ schools also receive books from the British Humanist Association and a free online subscription to New Humanist.
